Welcome to PickleWallet. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the PickleWallet mobile application, website, and related services.
By creating an account or using PickleWallet, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PickleWallet.
PickleWallet helps pickleball groups organize games, manage group membership, find public groups and games, invite one-time guests, track shared costs, and record prepaid group balances.
PickleWallet is a recordkeeping and coordination tool. PickleWallet does not hold user funds, process peer-to-peer payments, or guarantee that any payment between users has been completed.
Users may use external payment methods such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, cash, or other methods outside the app. PickleWallet only helps users record, track, and confirm payment-related activity.
You must be at least 13 years old to use PickleWallet. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you may use PickleWallet only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login credentials secure.
To use many features of PickleWallet, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile information up to date.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us immediately at: support@picklewalletapp.com.
PickleWallet allows users to create and join pickleball groups. Groups may include roles such as owner, admin, accountant, event creator, and member.
Group owners and admins may manage group settings, approve or reject join requests, manage members, create or cancel games, and manage certain cost-sharing features.
PickleWallet is not responsible for decisions made by group owners, admins, or members, including membership decisions, game cancellations, cost disputes, or payment disagreements.
PickleWallet provides tools for tracking shared costs.
Pay After Game, also referred to internally as AA, may help group members and approved guests calculate how much each person owes after a shared cost is finalized.
Prepaid Balance, also referred to internally as Pool, may help groups record member or guest deposits, adjustments, deductions, and balances.
These features are for tracking and organization only. PickleWallet does not verify whether money was actually sent or received outside the app. Users are responsible for confirming payment details directly with each other.
You agree that PickleWallet is not a bank, money transmitter, payment processor, escrow provider, or financial institution.
PickleWallet may allow users to save or display payment method labels or instructions, such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or cash instructions.
All payments are completed outside PickleWallet. PickleWallet does not process, reverse, refund, guarantee, or insure any external payment.
Before sending money, users should verify the recipient, amount, and payment method.
PickleWallet may let users find public groups, find games accepting one-time guests, request to join a public group or game, or withdraw a pending request. Group owners, co-helpers, and organizers may approve, reject, update, or withdraw requests and invitations as allowed by the app.
If you choose to let nearby groups invite you, authorized organizers may see limited public profile and approximate-distance information and invite you to a nearby group or game. You can turn this setting off. Invitations do not guarantee a place, playing time, court availability, safety, or that a game will occur.
Find Group is intended for public groups. Find Game may include a game from a public or private group when the organizer has enabled one-time guest requests. Enabling guest requests makes limited group, game, court, location, attendance, capacity, skill or age range, description, and estimated cost information available to users evaluating that game.
Approved or invited guests are responsible for confirming game details, attendance, directions, court fees, and shared-cost obligations. Organizers may cancel a game or update guest directions. Users should review current game information and notifications before traveling.
PickleWallet may offer free and paid plans. Paid features may include higher group limits, additional history, advanced payment details, reminders, or other premium features.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by the applicable app store. Billing, cancellation, refunds, and renewal rules are controlled by the app store provider.
Deleting a PickleWallet account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. You must cancel the subscription through the applicable app store.
PickleWallet may change, add, or remove features from free or paid plans in the future. If required by law or platform rules, we will provide notice of material changes.
You may submit content such as profile information, group names, game details, profile photos, group chat messages, guest requests, invitation notes, directions, payment notes, court suggestions, and support messages.
You retain ownership of your content, but you grant PickleWallet permission to use, store, display, and process your content as needed to provide the service.
You agree not to submit content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, misleading, hateful, infringing, or harmful to others.
You may report abusive, unsafe, infringing, or otherwise prohibited content to support@picklewalletapp.com. We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content and may suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate reports, or comply with law.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
PickleWallet may allow users to enter court, game, or location information. We try to provide useful tools, but we do not guarantee that court information, schedules, locations, availability, or game details are accurate.
Users are responsible for confirming game details, court availability, fees, rules, and safety conditions.
Nearby search results and distance estimates may be calculated from a device location, selected city, ZIP code, group or court coordinates, or preferred court. Results and distances are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
PickleWallet is a group management and payment tracking tool. We do not supervise games, screen users, provide safety guarantees, or control in-person interactions.
You are responsible for your own safety when meeting or playing with others.
Your use of PickleWallet is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: https://picklewalletapp.com/privacy.html.
PickleWallet may use third-party services such as Firebase, Google services, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play, Expo, and other service providers.
Your use of app store billing, external payment apps, maps, authentication, or notification services may also be subject to those third-party terms and privacy policies.
PickleWallet is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of payment records, group balances, game information, court information, reminders, or user-submitted content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PickleWallet and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
This includes damages related to payment disputes, incorrect records, group decisions, user conduct, game cancellations, injuries, or external payment activity, including disputes involving public groups, one-time guests, guest invitations, attendance, or shared guest costs.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PickleWallet from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of PickleWallet, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, misuse payment tracking features, or use PickleWallet in a harmful or unlawful way.
You may stop using PickleWallet at any time. You may request account deletion from Me → Account Settings → Delete Account or through our Account Deletion page.
Before deletion, you may need to transfer or delete groups you own, leave future games, wait for unfinished paid games to be finalized, settle open Pay After Game items, finish pending deposits, and bring any Prepaid Balance to $0. Some historical or de-identified group, game, guest, attendance, payment, balance, security, or dispute records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you through the app, by email, or by updating the effective date.
Your continued use of PickleWallet after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at: support@picklewalletapp.com.
