PickleWallet helps pickleball groups organize games, manage members, track shared costs, and record group payment activity. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use PickleWallet.
We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the app, and information provided by third-party services used to operate PickleWallet.
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
When you use PickleWallet, we may collect and store:
Find Group and Find Game may use a city, ZIP code, selected court, saved discovery location, or your current device location when you choose to use it. Search results may be ranked using coordinates and approximate distance.
If you turn on Let nearby groups invite me, authorized group owners, co-helpers, or game organizers may find you within the supported invitation area. Search results may show your display name, avatar, city and state, preferred court name, public skill information, and approximate distance. Your email address is not shown in nearby-player search results. You can turn this setting off or remove your preferred court in the app.
When you request a one-time game or receive a game invitation, PickleWallet stores information needed to manage that request, notify both sides, add an approved guest to the game, provide game directions, track attendance, and handle any guest shared-cost record.
We may collect content you submit, such as group names and descriptions, profile photos, group chat messages, event or payment notes, guest request notes, invitation notes, court suggestions, and support messages. Group chat messages are designed to be automatically removed after approximately 48 hours, although deletion may take longer if a scheduled cleanup is delayed.
PickleWallet may collect and store payment tracking information, including:
PickleWallet does not process peer-to-peer payments and does not store full bank account numbers, credit card numbers, debit card numbers, or payment app passwords.
If you purchase a paid plan, subscription information may be processed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We may receive subscription status information, such as whether your plan is active, expired, cancelled, in a grace period, or associated with a free, plus, or pro plan.
We do not receive your full credit card number from Apple, Google, or RevenueCat.
We may collect technical information such as:
PickleWallet may use location-related information when you search for nearby public groups, public guest games, opted-in players, or courts; suggest a court; enter a city or ZIP code; choose a preferred court; or use your current location after granting permission.
We may store user, court, group, or game location information such as city, state, ZIP code, address, latitude, longitude, and geohash when you or another user provides it. Nearby-player results use a preferred-court location when available or a selected city location as a fallback.
PickleWallet requests location only when needed for a location-based action. It does not need continuous background location tracking for core features.
We use information to:
We do not sell your personal information.
Public group listings may show group, schedule, skill, age range, court, location, member count, description, and request information. A game may appear in Find Game when its organizer enables guest requests even if the associated group is private. A guest-game listing may show the group name and type, group description, schedule, skill or age range, court and location, attendance, capacity, and estimated cost information needed to evaluate the game.
When you opt in to nearby invitations, the profile and distance information described above may be shown to authorized organizers searching for a temporary guest. Information marked private in your profile settings is not intended to appear in public profile results.
A player requesting a game shares their request and basic profile snapshot with the group owner, co-helper, or organizer reviewing it. An invited player receives the inviter or group name, game details, invitation note, court directions, and guest message needed to respond and attend.
Some information may be visible to members of your group, including:
Authorized organizers may see information needed to manage a group or game, including member information, public group requests, one-time guest requests and invitations, attendance, payment tracking records, prepaid balances, and group history.
We may use third-party service providers to operate the app, including:
These service providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the integrity of PickleWallet.
PickleWallet does not process peer-to-peer payments. If you send money using Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, cash, or another method, that transaction occurs outside PickleWallet.
PickleWallet may store records that users manually create or confirm, such as “sent,” “received,” “not received,” “pending,” “deducted,” or “adjusted.” These records are for group tracking only.
PickleWallet cannot verify, reverse, refund, or guarantee external payments.
If you allow notifications, we may collect and store a push notification token so we can send reminders about games, join requests, payment tracking, cancellations, guest requests or invitations, updated guest directions, or other group and payment activity.
You can control notifications through your device settings.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide PickleWallet, maintain accurate group and payment tracking records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Some records may remain in group history even if a user leaves a group or deletes an account because other users may need accurate historical records of games, guest requests or invitations, attendance, payments, balances, disputes, or organizer decisions. Where appropriate, profile information may be removed, deleted, or replaced with a deleted-user label.
Group chat messages are designed to expire after approximately 48 hours. We may delete, archive, or expire other old records according to app settings, system maintenance rules, legal obligations, security needs, or dispute and fraud-prevention requirements.
You may initiate account deletion inside PickleWallet from Me → Account Settings → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, use our Account Deletion page or email support@picklewalletapp.com.
Before deletion can finish, you may need to transfer or delete groups you own, leave future games, wait for an attended paid game to be finalized, settle open Pay After Game items, finish pending deposits, and bring any Prepaid Balance to $0. These steps protect other players' group and payment records. Deleting your PickleWallet account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be cancelled with the store.
After a verified deletion request, we delete the authentication account and private profile and remove or de-identify active membership information where supported. We may retain a limited deletion marker and historical group, game, guest, attendance, chat, payment, balance, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute records when necessary to protect other users, preserve accurate shared records, or meet legal obligations. Retained records are not used to make the deleted profile discoverable for new invitations.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
